Qualifications

To qualify to be a recipient of the Foundation, a person needs to have been in an abusive relationship and have successfully left their abuser. The stipulations to be selected into the Program are the following:

1. The survivor(s) must be separated from their abuser for at least 1 year.
2. The survivor(s) are required to have counseling after separating from the abuse.
3. A report documenting the abuse from a social worker, Physician or shelter must be included. A police report, or ER documentation is also accepted.
4. Application from the Foundation must be submitted for review
5. Personal letters documenting the abuse will also help in the review process.

The AtlantaSmiles Foundation reserves the right to accept or decline an individual based on all data collected. We MUST be assured that the services granted are worthy to the individual seeking treatment.
